Your head was probably pounding from listening to Zep at full volume all night. Its the cover of the first Led Zeppelin album. It is a picture of the Hindenburg exploding. I thought it was appropriate for the situation since my lucky Tony the Tiger avatar seems to have lost its mojo.
Usually love the La. seafood. Used to love Middendorf's. But catfish that thin, we throw back!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my gosh! I agree with a Rebel!! I don't like Middendorf's for that exact reason. I went there when I was young and told my Dad that there was no fish in my batter. He laughed.
I've never been a fan of Middendorf's. I usually don't order catfish, as I prefer shrimp, and their fried shrimp aren't very good. I love to go to Pat's, but I usually order the shrimp au gratin. It's awesome. Mike Anderson's has some great combination platters with a large variety of different dishes. Don's makes the best crawfish pie.
here in orlando, fla (the hurricane capital of the world)............it is boston's (yeah as in redsox).........light crust and oh so flavorful..........yum!!!!
...or to go to work... ...I worked on a Texaco rig in Terrebonne Bay as a roustabout 30 summers ago... Cocodrie IS the end of the world....
Mike Anderson's, GJ's in Branch (Doubt anyone has heard of it) has an excellent buffet, been a couple years though, dont know if it's still open.
what was the name of that place with the huge seafood buffet rest. in Plaquemine (i think) a few years back? it then went to crap and was bought out.
