It's not just about the whales.

Think of how many planktonic organisms would have to die because there's no more microscopic dead whale pieces floating around in the ocean for them to eat...

Plankon have rights too!!!!!. save the plankton, screw the whales...blow them right out of the sea !!!

Best comedy on TV is clearly The Office.

I do need to check out this whale show though. I've been hearing good things about it.

I saw that episode last night. The Japanese ship was prepared. It had these powerful water cannons that ran the entire length of the ship that prevented their small boats from even getting close and a sonic device they use to aim at their helicopter that makes this very annoying noise to disorient the pilot. Then, to think they could throw that stink bomb 60 ft in the air to clear the bow while traveling 30 mph in choppy seas was laughable. I don't see why they didn't try to drop them from the helicopter, if it wasn't for that LRAD.

I thought that was greenpeace, but you may be right

i love this show, i have been watching it since it started. last year a couple guys boarded the japanese ship and then they put out a press release saying they were "kidnapped". the japanese tried as hard as they could to keep them off the ship, and when they got on they claimed they were kidnapped. o lord the dishonesty.

i think the show is great for illustrating how false and selfish and stupid the environmental movement is. and also it is fun becaue of the general incompetence. since i have been watching they have twice insisted on putting tiny girls on the small boats and the girls got hurt by bouncing around rough waters.

while clearly silly environmental guilt is a big reason idiots so this, i also think a big part of it is that women are emotional idiots that cry over everything, and men are idiots that want to be having sex with those emotional girls.

Best Comedy is Rescue Me, hands down.

Whale Wars, i watch this show, because the trailer for the new season had me hooked, the trailer is alot more intense than the show is. Whales should be protected they are endangered and they are mammals.

Rescue me is pretty typical. I will vote for the Office as the best right now.

because they are mammals? why is that relevant? cows are mammals.

i kinda agree that there is value in sustaining the whales, so we can continue to eat them. and i know the japanese dont give a damn, they are happy to keep fishing whales or tuna or whatever until there are none, lying about it the entire time. but i dont think the japs are about to drive them extinct, they are just out there sneaking a few more than they should.

and even if they go extinct, oh well, thats no big deal. as you know, virtually every animal that has ever existed is now extinct. over time, the kind of animals on earth changes. the premise that we are protecting humans because whales are an important part of a fragile biospehere that includes us, this is clearly a lie.

whales are like corn or any other product the earth produces. we should probably keep it wround, but if we ran out, we could make do with something else.

Seriously, I agree with conservation despite my snide remarks about it, but personally, I have NEVER run into an animal rights activist or sympathizer that has the same respect for Human life as they do about freakin' animals.

This hypocracy destroys any credibility these people have ... in my book.
