Snorton - there is a factory here in Berkeley called Scharffenberger. http://www.scharffenberger.com/ They make EXQUISITE chocolates. My favorite is a small bar called the "Nibby", with bits of cacao beans (the beginning of chocolate) and vanilla beans in the bar...kinda crunchy with the cacao almost like a toasted nut... ...because, ya see, I'm a texture kinda guy..... It is somewhat bittersweet but it is the BEST chocolate that my wife & I have EVER had....and she is a CERTIFIED chocoholic..... I noticed that Guittard is on the list....they are across the bay in Burlingame and they used to be a customer of mine...they make the chocolate for See's Candies, which is a HUGE West Coast candy concern...
