Best Burger?

    Wow that does sound insanely good! Place here in Lafayette makes a Cajun Benedict with Boudin, White Bread, Eggs all topped with seafood Gumbo.....it's maybe the best thing I've ever eaten....will have to try the soft shell, thanks.

    Yes it is still here although it burned down a couple of years ago. They rebuilt it.

    I like Burgersmith a lot. Hope it comes to Lake Charles soon.

    i'll be nice.

    besides, you pretty much gave away our thinking.

    and tiger chick, do try the softshell benedict. i can promise you wont be sorry. no offense to steve, but you can get a great burger a few places. but the softshell benedict isnt everywhere, and his is stellar. first time i ate there i practically had to be rolled out i was so full. hungry for it just thinking about it!

    Didn't care for Burgersmith especially given the price. Parmesean/Garlic fries were really good though. I liked the Fat Cow Burger place better but their Duck Fat fries were overrated.

    I hear we are getting a Steak and Shake soon which I heard good things about. I think there is one in Covington.

    Steak and Shake is okay, but really nothing more than a fast food burger, about on par with Sonic.

    Wow I've never heard of Fat Cow or Steak and Shake, giving me a Burger ignorant complex over here.....gonna have to look em up too.

    I don't know what it is about Burgersmith, maybe it's the garlic fry combo....love it.
