Tabby's is history. In the early days somebody in your party had to carry a piece, the neighborhood was that bad. At one time they didn't have a regular bar, the local distributors wouldn't sell them liquor on credit. What type of place are you looking for? If you want load music, crowds and drunk college chicks go to Tigerland. (Fred's, Reggies, JL's) If you still want a college feel but more laid back crowd try the Chimes, Serranos, of walk-Ons. Also good food at those spots. For live music try the Caterie Yes. That place sucked but you couldn't beat the $5 special. The Bulldog is pretty cool. Nice outdoor patio and tons of beers on tap.
