yes, i am aware that your political philosophy is not based on reason, but about what you think is moderate. at the point at which AGW was sort of a mainstream belief, you no longer cared about reality.

    Changing the subject--checkmate.

The topic is global warming science, not my political philosophy.

    Game over.

the topic here has never been science. as much as you want to deny human nature exists, but globwal warming and to a lesser extend environmental science in general is inextricably political.

for all of human history we have been desperate for a human earth destruction myth. its the first book of the bible for god's sakes.

Hotly debated in politics. The science of it is accepted by the majority of experts. The dissent level is quite low among those who have actually published anything on the topic.

    Why?

Do you or do you not accept that the globe is warming?

Do you or do you not accept that the human era on this planet has produced a higher carbon signature and is a causal factor in global warming.

The questions are simple. Where is the politics?

I find a reasonably unbiased source of insight into GW is Judith Curry's blog.

    Climate Etc.

She lists the critiques of the BEST analysis first.

the issue is political because you dont want this info just because you are curious about the world. you want to push legislation. the ipcc even prepared a report for policymakers. ever notice that other scientific issues do not have scientists preparing reports for policymakers?

    "Why?"

    Why what?

Why we talk about global warming?

    Why politics are involved?

"Do you or do you not accept that the globe is warming?"

It warms and cools all the time...Changes each year.

"Do you or do you not accept that the human era on this planet has produced a higher carbon signature and is a causal factor in global warming."

    Higher as apposed to what?

Is a warmer planet bad? If so Prove it?

How many humans will die from it?

How much will the world be warmed from Humans?

Can we prevent another ice-age? If so, how?

Can we prevent an age of extreme heat? If so, how?

"The questions are simple. Where is the politics?"

    Really Red, Really......:insane:

    We Humans are silly things....:thumb:
