not in every case but in many, yes. how else do you explain their unwillingness to work with him on things that have historically been either bi-partisan or republican ideas? as further proof, how many pieces of legislation can you recall the Republicans putting forward that had anything at all to do with the economy or jobs? instead it's all about repealing Obamacare or making English an official language, or ensuring that homosexual immigrants will not be able to gain citizenship on the immigration deal. That said, the Republican party has drifted so far right that it has left centrists like myself no other alternative but the dems. And when the Republicans are not producing legislation that is written in an effort to solve problems but instead to press politically sensitive hot buttons, what else are we supposed to believe? Still, we had a case where the dems were making it out like GWB and Cheney had personally acted on a personal vendetta against Wilson and Plame and it just wasn't the truth. In fairness, if they do turn up something legitimate during this investigation, then I'll be the first to say that the wrong doers need to be held accountable. My issue is that there have been several investigations into this incident already, investigations that were conducted by Republican's too, that have turned up absolutely nothing. Top Republicans keep saying that the heavy stuff is right around the corner but so far nothing. If they truly have the goods then produce them and let's get to the bottom of it, if not then drop it and let's all move on to something more important.
