1. Jimbo Fisher is the guy I like most.
  2. Thanks for at least naming someone.

This may be his year. I'm hoping it is--because the more undefeated teams there are, the less likely Bama's three-peat dreams come to fruition if we happen to hand them one loss.
  3. I think Charlie Strong is good and underrated as well as David Shaw.

There are others that don't have quite as good as a record, but are in a small talent pool like Steve Sark and Chris Peterson.
  4. Strong isn't bad, and David Shaw would be my number one pick if we were in the market for a coach.

Sarkisian is a decent coach--I think. It's hard to tell because Washington started strong this year, but is tanking currently. Regardless, I think he'll be USC's coach next year.

Peterson isn't all that special. Boise State is falling off the map right now. They've won with weak, weak schedules. In the SEC, I don't think he'd get the job done.
  5. The thing I like about Peterson is he coached those kids to play sound fundamental football.

They weren't the biggest or the fastest, but they played smart.

I feel like LSU relys on raw talent.
  6. So what? You said there were coaches "that do more with less and make a whole lot less money than our staff". But you just can't name them. So we know its bullshit.

What else have you been suggesting with all of this business about getting better coaches? You are crawfishing. I don't blame you.
  7. Not at all. Try me.
  8. I think that Peterson has looked good playing many teams that are a mere step up from high school. He apparently doesn't even have a decent QB now, and he's losing a lot.

And of course, we rely on raw talent, but as evidenced by the number of guys going to the NFL (and doing well), the guys are being coached well while they are here.
  9. I never suggested we get a new head coach. My point was to your 10 win rhetoric. You acted like Les Miles is the only coach who can win 10 games.
  10. Well, he made UGA look silly. Beat Oregon, VT and others with wide gaps in recruiting.
