9-3 or even 8-4. Realistically, as long as Miles is the coach, 9-3 seasons are probably about as good as it's going to get.
I was also expecting between 1-4 losses. I can accept a loss or an off game. Thats not the issue, thats football. However not seeing ANY improvement, thats an issue. Seeing re-gression is an issue. Off game or not, LSU shouldnt lose to Ole Miss. Especially considering they were playing with 5+ string DEs. The play calling was much more diverse early on, but now its getting back to where it was. Predictable.
So far Les is averaging over 10 wins a season for 8 years. There are about 110 schools that would trade places with us.
Amazing how the anti-Miles pu$$ies come out after every loss. It's like a Rubik's cube where every square is the same color...so predictable that it is boring.
Amazing how all these Miles ass-sniffers keep coming out to defend the same issues over and over. He shouldnt be fired but he needs to quickly address those issues. There is absolutely no reason for the same issues popping up every damn game. If you or I keep FN up at our jobs our butts are on the line. Again, a loss is fine but we should see some improvements by now.
So what are you saying, that he needs to get a better OC? Or do we need a better DC? We got beat. It happens.
Again, I expected a few losses this year. I cant accept a team making the same damn mistakes every week. Thats on Miles and all the coaches. I also think Miles is putting his stamp on play calling. We are much more run oriented again, with much more predictability. I cant accept the fact that LSU has 4 losses in the last two years all in the same exact manner. Im tired of his clueless ways at the end of halves/games. There is absolutely no excuse for it to continue to happen year after year. He has to get it or get out. A team will reflect its coach, we are playing like a deer in headlights. Miles deserves some heat. Im not sure what more he has to do for some of you to realize there is a re-occuring theme here.
I love winning. I love watching a good, close football game. But I really would rather see my team win that close game. We had fun at Vaught Hemingway. Till the last 3 secs. Beat Bama! I hate them gumps and their fukn fans
If not for Mettenberger's three drive-killing interceptions, LSU would have won easily. Les haters have all come out as usual, but this loss is squarely on Mettenberger. Some idiots think LSU has some God-given right to never lose a game.
3 interceptions, but the sack he took after the muff was huge too. Les bumbled at the end but last time I looked, he didn't give up 525 to Ole Miss, he didn't throw 3 picks to a double covered receiver, he didn't miss tackles, and he didn't let the rebellious bears walk up and down the field.
