I've always said that when Brady had all of those schollie limits on his teams that we shouldn't judge him and he needed to be given the benefit of the doubt. The benefit is gone now. He needs to produce or be gone. We get great talent in LA and the PMAC should be filled for every game, we should be playing the likes of ACC, Big East, Big Ten, the better Conf. USA and PAC 10 teams pre-SEC. You play all of these cream puff schedules, win a lot of them to fluff up the record and then win half of the SEC games year after year. This is not good. We cannot accept what is happening with LSU basketball. His teams have not been good for a while. We don't run any offense. We play decent D and that's it. We should be good on both ends of the court just like all of the best programs in the country.

Our football team went 13-1. Our Basketball team had early success but are playing poorly right now. A lot of you guys need to learn how to accept defeat once in a while. It's all part of the learning process. As for the Brady bashers, why didn't you guys become coaches? You watch a couple games and listen on the radio for a few others and have all the answers. I find it very amusing that my friend, -T-, never shows himself around here until the BB team has a little adversity. Then he's circling like a damn vulture.

Who did that early success come against? No matter what you think of Brady, you CANNOT say he has ever played a tough OOC schedule. And I think that hurts his team early in SEC play.

Playing tougher competition early would have exposed our offensive weaknesses and given Brady more time to try and correct the problem before SEC play. Now, we are in the middle of our SEC schedule trying to fix the problem.

you tell them SabanFan. These are the same people that when we went 8-5 last year in football that wanted to get rid of Saban because he is not winning consistency, and will be the same people when, not if, we finish 12-4 this year in the SEC and make it to the Sweet Sixteen will want to make Brady the highest paid coach in America.... I have always said that the worst and best thing about our beloved LSU is the fans.

Brady should and will get one more year. He has done an admirable job bringing us through Dale's sanctions. (Don't get me wrong I love Dale and think we got screwed). Brady is just now fielding a full team, and he is getting some big time athletes.

That being said, WE SUCK! I hate when I hear Hawthorne say 'we just can't hit the shots.' What the hell is the point of basketball? If you can't shoot, YOU SUCK.

We have great athletes on this team, but there seems to be no teamwork. These guys still need to gell, and learn their roles. There is still time, but I am getting worried.

    I'm with you guys

Brady is doing a terrible job of coaching right now.

He has two of the best big men in the league and they aren't getting enough touches.

I said the same thing last year. If Ronald Dupree would have gotten 15 touches a game, we would have won 25 games.

We have no motion offense. No pick and roll, etc.

I'm very dissappointed right now in our coaching staff.

The reins need to be turned loose with this team.

They have to be allowed to run the ball and put pressure on defenses. Watching the Miss. State game and listening to that Ole Miss debacle, we are much faster than both teams. But when we are made to stop and sit out there against a zone, they are clueless. When we run, we score....it gets guys involved and gets guys into the flow of the game. Sitting back and throwing passes around a zone until we turn it over isn't gonna work.

I can't believe Brady can't get these guys into an offensive set against a simple 2-3 zone...........that is coaching friends.

you're expectations are too high. many of you said this team would go 12-4 in sec play---what a joke. when you looked at the roster at the beginning of the season did you really think this team was going to be above average in the sec with mitchell, hudson, minor and whipple. you cannot win without good guards.

because of these ridiculous expectations you are overreacting. i don't know if brady will lead us to "the promised land" (whatever the hell that is), but i do know that he has put together two of the best teams lsu has ever had. and after what last years team accomplished i want brady to be around for a while. give him a couple of years to develop/recruit good guards.

Last years team produced an embarassing first round slaughter by Purdue in the NCAA Tournament. If you settle for that, so be it, but I want consistant top 15 teams.

Ok, I assume you are talking about the 1999-2000 team as one ... who is the other Brady team that is one of the all time best?
