$850.00 sounds like a dam fair price to me. I paid half that just for liner to be sprayed in bed of my truck when I first got it.

You know what they say, "Cover it now, or regret it later."

It's not so bad if they're adding labor for removing and covering bolts. But the cargo area was $420 and then to cover an extra 20 sq ft was double the price. Kinda weird to me.

Why, did it rust all the way through?

Rusted a small hole in one corner. I was doing a lot of salt water fishing and then in the fall the bed would get full of leaves from a pecan tree. I had to park it uncovered because I had one car and a boat in the carport.

I guess I just see things differently than y'all. A small hole would never bother me. To me, a vehicle is a tool, and I like to use it all the way up while putting as little money into it as possible. It's all about total cost of ownership to me. I just don't see how a bed liner could possibly ever save me money or lower my total cost of ownership.

If small problems aren't fixed they grow into large expensive problems.
A small rusted hole could expand into a larger hole.

by the time that hole was an issue, you would be having other, more serious problems. Remember, I like to use the tool up, not keep it pristine for the next owner.

Things like a work truck aren't usually things to sink money into. Except maybe new tires when the old ones show metal.
