i love dick cheney and i wish he was president. he is probably my favorite among all mainstream politicians. ron paul would be better, but he is living in the past on foreign relations.

 

They just had weak advisors. Good advisors would've had teleprompters surrounding them at every speaking engagement and also would've advised them to bow down to other leaders.

Bush is not a member of MENSA. But he certainly is not a moron. And Palin is, in fact, pretty sharp. She's just not national politician sharp. She'd kick your butt 5 ways to Sunday in a debate about the issues. In fact, both of them would. With zero prep.

Of course, you get to hide behind your bluster and your hyperbole because you'll never be asked to follow through.

 

You're crazy. Palin did more to help McCain than any VP pick in the history of VP picks. Just about everyone was saying they were staying home on election night due to McCain...with Palin, only half of them stayed home.

Seriously though, there is no way you can make the argument that Palin hurt McCains chances.
