And who chose Palin? Had McCain and his handlers been smarter they might even have won the election. I'm not a big Palin fan, but there are plenty of reasons McCain lost Palin being the least of them.

 

She was no where near ready for prime time. An inept and desperate out of touch Republican leadership rushed her into the lime light without much thought. She's not nearly the person the vicious far left has made her out to be, but she isn't vice presidential material either.

 

He's already made an even bigger joke out of our political system. I have a nine year old that's more qualified and mentally stable than that moron.

 

And Marion Barry was Mayor of DC Several times, Corrine Brown was elected to Congress, Dan Quayle was VP. We elect idiots to office all the time.

 

I dont think she is undereducated, maybe on certain issues, but the lady on Fox took it a bit far.

 

So you've met them? Because this isn't the story I hear from folks who have spent considerable time with both of them.

You should watch less TV if you think either of these folks are morons.

She isn't qualified to be VP and wasn't prepared to even run for the office. That doesn't make her a moron. The people who put her in that position were clearly morons.

 

i dunno about palin, but virtually everyone who has met bush, even opponents, say he was an incredible charmer and had stunningly good social skills.

 

i wouldn't mind having a beer or sharing a peace pipe with ole Dubya.
