1. "Realizing that the FIRST ONE was against Akron"...but no need to nitpick. I think these teams are similar in philosophy, though LSU has been more productive. Ball control wins ball games, as much for wearing out D Lineman as anything else. I agree with someone's post (can't remember where it was), that having played so many D Lineman through the year b/c of injuries, Depth is a strength for LSU. Tressel has always rotated a lot of players on the D Line through the years, to help develop that depth as well...

IS IT GAMETIME YET? The wait is taking years off my life...

  2. LSU will go by bus to New Orleans on Wed. after a morning practice....When does OSU get in town??? That's when it's gonna feel that gametime is coming soon.
  3. They're getting into town 5 days before the game, as they wanted to shorten the lounge time, 10 days, they had last year.

  5. Are ya kiddin me? he gets the ball alot where Lsu uses multiple rbs who have just as much talent and speed, but don't get the ball a lot. Who is going to be a better pro Keiland or beanie? Dmac is an all around back who can do anything even pass and is the best back in college. Beanie is a homerun threat vs the big ten!
  6. hey f*ckeye, i was referring to 'his intelligence' making statements about the ability to run on LSU in print media. I guess they don't emphasize reading comprehension up there in O-hi-hoe???
  7. As an LSU fan you'll take our injuries into account, but you can't expcet him to. If you were evaluating USC's season, I honestly doubt you would take their injuries into account. You have to go on what you see, and we've been run on.
  8. I agree...I don't think Dmac is better in every way. Arkansas's O-line was way underrated.

  9. Same here.:geaux:
