I'm talking about TODAY, not yesteryear. When was the last time Notre Dame was ranked #1 in the preseason?? Top 10?? In contrast, just about every year the last ten years, USC, OSU, or OU are ranked #1, or at least in the top 5 ... and they get their butts handed to them every year.
Us older guys never forget. And I can assure you the media salivated when Weiss became coach and were salivating at the start of this season for the, Catholics to regain the pinnacle again.
I remember, but I think the larger point is that it is our time now. Prior to this last decade, the greatest era of LSU football was clearly in the late-50s and early-60s. That has now been easily eclipsed. We all loved the Charlie Mac days as well, but here we are. Enjoy the ride. Nothing lasts forever. :crystal::crystal::crystal:
Ohio State, Florida and Texas all lose. LSU currently has the best record since 2005 of any BCS school.

Thanks for the update. And this is just more fuel for the VT arguement! They are not a flash in the pan. They have earned the respect of the voters. They are number two in wins in the Mile's era.
When I updated the list and saw VTech move into 2nd place, I thought the exact same thing. This is the team we need to be playing.
