1. Sorry, that will never happen.
  2. A one-loss Bama would have a chance to get back in... A one-loss LSU would not.
  3. A one-loss Bama (or LSU) only gets in if there are less than 2 undefeated teams.
  4. Stanford and Clemson would be 13-0 and certainly ahead of LSU.

Stanford no doubt. Clemson I suspect would nudge ahead of us on that last weekend of the season.
  5. So you're saying Boise State gets in over a 1 loss LSU or Bama who have obliterated 11 opponents?
  6. Well, this will be for the redelephants to worry about anyway.
  7. If all but one SEC team have one loss and Boise St. is still undefeated, this will be the year that the polls put them in the big game. It is inevitable. Most of the media hate the BCS because it takes the ranking power out of their hands.
  8. Yes indeed.
  9. Les Miles was supposedly asked last night about this scenario and he said it would be a travesty to the BCS for a rematch to happen.

This came from a Bama fan at work.

Not sure if anyone can confirm this.
  10. However the media has absolutely no say in the matter. And I don't know someone would believe that bama would have better chance than LSU if we had loss. We have made the game twice when many fans, media, etc. thought other teams were more deserving. LSU is more respected than many of us believe.
