I would like to play a California team like UCLA so we can get some exposure in that area and help with recruiting that area which has some great talent. Or playing a North School would be good also maybe Penn State. The more realistic and beneficial would be playing Texas in the Reliant Stadium and dominating them.
I don't see how lining 4 or 5 receivers and throwing the ball all the time is a gimmick...TT's offense is nothing like Florida, Oregon, and West Virginia...I would consider those teams as having gimmick offenses. Don't we play Ga. Tech sometime during the 2010's.
Yes I agree. I thought about it after I posted it, but didn't feel like changing it. Let's just say we had our troubles against the spread this year. Hopefully that will change.
I want no part of a home-and-home with Wisconsin. Give me GaTech. I want to be able to say that LA was 2-0 against the state of Georgia next year.
It really doesn't matter to me as long as it is a BCS school. Persoanlly I would like to see GT or Illinois, but I was wondering - what is wrong with playing Wisconsin? ldskule:
My vote is for Nebraska. They only have 4 road games next year. We could replace New Mexico State on their schedule. We currently have a love fest going on with them. It would be a feel good game between our two schools. It would also be great exposure for Nebraska and a popular national story line for ESPN. The only problem I see is they have VT the next week at home, then Missouri after that but it is also at home. http://www.huskers.com/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=100&KEY=&SPID=22&SPSID=3
I don't think that Pellini will want to play against LSU. Don't minds playing a home and home with Wisconsin, my dad up there last year and said it was nice...Their B-ball team is pretty much like their football team, I agree with that post.
I think LSU is still going to schedule a cupcake... Just a BCS-Conference cupcake. In Lehman's terms, they will schedule a more expensive cupcake instead of the generic brand. Baylor is the name I keep hearing.
Only 4 road games is just what the Doctor ordered. While I would love a home and home series with LSU in the future, next year would not be a very smart move on NU's part. Nebraska typically only plays one marquee non-conference game -- next year it's VT.
