The burning part scared me, though. I don't want to get skin cancer. Do they have margaritas down there?
I'm going to be pulling for OU based on several reasons: Mainly, I think a Florida win effects (negatively) LSU more than an OU would.. Plus, I have several friends and a sister that go to OU. Boomer Sooner....just for today...
actually initial line was UF 1 but never made it to the public. they bet it up to 3. now 6? thats unheard of that big of a line movement on such a game. huge money on the gators. if you got it anywhere around 2 1/2 you could now take oklahoma and have a good chance of middling and win both. UF -2' and OU +6 UF wins by 3-5 and youre a happy camper.
OU vs. Florida Tirk wants us to pull for OU (or neither), but I can't do it. I think if Myer wins again, after Weis falls on his face next season, ND will offer the US mint to UM to coach there. Then, we'll be without UM.
Re: OU vs. Florida If you could guarantee me that, I would pull for Florida tonight. I just don't think Notre Dame will part with fat ass. Easy easy schedule and the QB looking more comfortable = 9-3 season. I can't hear all the Tebow stuff. And he won't leave especially if they win it. He will want to come back just to be the first QB to win it 3 times and another shot at the Heisman.
Re: OU vs. Florida Notre Dame's '09 Schedule: Sept. 5 NEVADA Sept. 12 at Michigan (L) Sept. 19 MICHIGAN STATE (L) Sept. 26 at Purdue Oct. 3 WASHINGTON Oct. 17 USC (L) Oct. 24 BOSTON COLLEGE (L) Oct. 31 Washington State (at San Antonio, TX) Nov. 7 NAVY Nov. 14 at Pittsburgh (L) Nov. 21 CONNECTICUT Nov. 28 at Stanford The L's are the potential losses. I think they could conceivably blow it in 5 games. Not sure how good Purdue is, but they could lose that one too. I'm not too impressed with the Irish, but they could surprise me. Sheesh, look how easy that schedule it.
