The year Tulane went undefeated they still would not have been in the title game and I am sure they would not have last year or this upcoming season either. The BCS was created simply to try and find a solution when the coaches poll and the AP poll disagreed. Everyone points to the AP poll as the pigs in this fiasco but the coaches poll was the exact same, and in my opinion they had it right. The title game should have been USC/LSU, the BCS system isd the one that had it wrong. USC schedule was underrated as proven my the bowl results and OU's was overrated as proven by the bowl results, thus we were all deprived of the 2 best teams playing each other. At least they both won and got a piece of the championship. At least this new system is not being pumped up as a new and better system of determining the 2 best with an even more complicated system. They have let it be known that the computers are going to come into play only in the event of a disagreement by the 2 polls. We would have been in under any system, remember that.
