And if we don't make the NC game, there's still a good chance we get an at-large BCS bowl birth. So season is far from being a waste. And it starts in UT.
Newest BCS poll has us falling a spot this week to 17. ... We were jumped by 'Consin, looks like. Thoughts? Personally, I think it's bullcrap, but we'll see after this weekend.
Two losses? When was the last time a team (in the BCS era, if not before then) played for the MNC w/ 2 losses? I haven't looked at this nearly as closely as you have, but is there a chance that a 1-loss SEC champ edges an undefeated W Va or Louisville? I'd think a 1-loss Tennessee would be the best positioned of this bunch if Cal runs the table (not even considering Texas, as a 1-loss SEC team should easily pass Texas given how strong the SEC is this year).
I would L-O-V-E for LSU to get a shot at USC. Not sure how that'd happen, other than the Rose Bowl (assumes Big Ten champ goes to Glendale).
a one loss sec champ will probably go over any other one loss team they just have the winner of this thursday's big east game trips somewhere else (i dont think rutgers is that good) i dont see a 2 loss team making it to the fiesta
