If you're here to talk smack, then go elsewhere.

islstl has been breaking down BCS point son here for years now and he's usually very accurate

If he wants to give the list of unlikely events to allow for LSU to have a shot, then many here are interested in reading it and appreciate his post.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict the most unlikely of title games

    Arky vs. Rutgers. :hihi:

OK, I know theres a better chance of a blizzard blowing through hell, but just in case, you heard it here first.

I am not sure if maybe people are missing my original post.

I am not saying that if WVU goes undefeated that Texas would still play for the national championship. I am just saying Texas has a better shot at running the table and WVU end up with a loss to enable Texas to get that chance (Louisville more than likely will have to lose at some point also, but I am not convinced of that as of yet).

So my list is based on what I think is most likely to happen with teams winning/losing from here on out.

    Thanks for having my back.

Yes, the LSU post was for those interested in what appears to be remote chances of getting to the national title game. But then again, no one gave us a chance at this point in the season back in 2003 either.

If Ohio St and Mich is an extreme close game. And I am talking a last minute field goal wins it by 1 point, THEN the losing team WILL not drop and the 2 teams will play in the National Championship.

This is a yet ANOTHER reason the Big 10 needs to play a championship game.

I remember people calling a few of us fools when we were trying to tell them that LSU had a shot to get up to #2 in the BCS rankings. Even up until the final weekend they were. Heck, even after the Hawaii game in the am hours when it was finally decided they would not believe that LSU was going to be #2.
