FU*K what foreigners think. This is our election and they have no say. Let them mind their own business as most seem to find themselves and countries in a world of shyte.

I guess Powell is either a fan of Keynesian economics, or has African ancestry, one of the two.

Or he disagrees with Mitt Romney's foreign policy (Colin Powell is considered a foreign policy expert...even more so than you, martin):

also obama has been pretty inconsistent with his foreign policy. anti-war candidate that dials up the drones in pakistan to where he is essentially terrorizing a entire region and killing innocent people. and promising to close guantanamo because of its tricky legal status? and yet it remains open. and siding with the government in all the wiretapping cases? liberals are furious with him.

and i dont disagree with those policies. obama knew in advance those would be his policies. but politics is largely a game of telling lies to stupid people who are not sophisticated enough to take the policy that is more nuanced or they think makes them seem like an asshole.

thats the nature of politics. run hard to the extremes for the primaries, run hard to the center for the general election.

suddenly the policies of romney and bush and dole are not good enough for mr powell. sure. i see it this way: black vote for blacks. its an overwhelming and indisputable fact.

I agree with your last assumption, but I HIGHLY doubt that Colin Powell is voting for Obama because of his race. VERY highly doubt it.

    Powell is a moderate pragmatist.
