That is the kicker. The first two shots conceivably were a reaction, but the delay and the following three shots certainly sounded deliberate. Hard to explain with the gun still in his pocket. The cops have much to explain, especially if all the shots came from one officer. But keep the story fair. The media keep reporting that he was a "nice young man" trying to scrape out a living. It should not be forgotten that he is actually middle aged with a long criminal record, served a sentence in prison, has 5 children that he doesn't support, has been convicted of possession of stolen guns and drugs, has had previous run-ins with citizens and police at this location, and is a registered sex offender and an felon on probation illegally carrying a gun. And the cops pulled over for none of that! They pulled over because someone reported him threatening people with a gun which was illegal and dangerous. Then he resisted the officers, which was illegal and suspicious, especially when he was in possession of a gun. It does not look like a legitimate shooting at first glance, but don't make the perp out to be an angel. He created the situation, not the police.
His 5 unsupported kids will remain so. They will see none of those dollars,but some chic in BR is about to get a new caddy.
