Does anyone know where I can get some good boudin in Baton Rouge. I don't know of any places around here that sells it. And, I prefer not the kind that you buy in the grocery store and have to reheat/cook yourself. I'm talkin fresh boudin goodness. If anyone knows of a place, I would appreciate the tip. I love me some boudin... :thumb:  :D

Go to the Good Eats forum and look around. There should be at least a couple threads on the subject.

Jerry Lee's is the best in Baton Rouge.

There is a place in Addis that's pretty good. I would tell you the name, but I can't ever remember it! It's off Hwy 1 ... can't miss it!

It's on Hwy 1 in Addis. Take the new bridge and head towards Plaquemine. Addis is a few miles past Brusly. It's on the left as you enter Addis. I think it's less than 10 miles after crossing the river.

I haven't been there in over a year ... I assume they are still in business.
