I go to practice 1-2 times a week, and i have never seen Terry Martin playing with the reserves. He is always out there either as the 6th man, or starting in Mason's spot, so he will play large.

I can tell you that he reminds me a lot of Antonio Hudson: good, solid shooter, who is capable of getting 15-20 points in a half if he is feeling it.

thing is: Hudson always was our #2 guy, so defenses featured on him...

    Martin won't be...

don't worry; Terry will be a solid player for us.

Yeah his frosh year he really impressed me and even carried the team at times especially in the sec tourny that year...then the next three years i think it was safe to say he never lived up what he did his first year.

I saw Glen Davis talking after the game, and he said the Tigers "underestimated how good Oregon was" and said it was a mistake the Tigers needed to correct, that all the D1 teams had talent. Maybe our Tigers learned something important, I hope so. Glen is a well spoken young man, enjoyable to listen to. The guy interviewing him was from Oregon, and had played basketball. He joked with Glen about how tall he was, that some players are not listed at their true height, but the interviewer said he was 6' 7" and Glen looked a little taller, so they agreed Glen was really 6' 9", which is what he is listed. Glen said he was 295 lbs., which is 10 more than I read last summer. They talked about his need to improve his conditioning over last year, Glen said he did it for himself and because the team needed him to be in better shape. He sounded like a humble selfless guy. He's got a good smile, I hope he succeeds big in the NBA.

this win was the same as a road SEC win. a solid win. not like uf, uk or bama, but not too different from ark and uga (theyre pretty damn good this year btw).

why wasn't there a thread on the women's basketball team? They are better than the men's team and more exciting to watch.

You serious? OSU lost to some crappy teams (Southeastern Louisiana) and barely beat other crappy teams (Northern Colorado by 2).

There was nothing solid about that win. The only good thing was getting the W.

    C'mon Terry Martin...
