If nothing goes to court... the plan would be to deny, deny, deny... And we all know that the NCAA has no legal subpoena power.. North Carolina got off from not admitting a dam thing. Missouri has the hammer drop on them for the same thing and self reporting. Deny deny deny.

If anyone learns anything about this issue it is to not be the man in charge and USE A PHONE! That what assistants are for!

    Ain't that right @CoachHughFreeze?

True, but he's probably getting 'strong offers' from other schools.

I'd like to join the team, but I'm still on the fence. Can't help but remember the hard-on the NCAA had for Dale when he was here....will there be any residual feelings against LSU from those days? But for now, I think the people who are demanding Wade resign now and LSU opt out of the postseason are colossal idiots....ever heard of due process? Innocent until proven guilty? What if you sit the team with a potential 3 seed or higher on the line and then get exonerated in July? Let it play out.

Not yet. Emmert is taking a wait and see approach, likely gauging the way each school is/has handled the FBI probe. He made this comment a few years ago regarding 3 other programs, "We have no tolerance whatsoever for this alleged behavior. Coaches hold a unique position of trust with student-athletes and their families, and these bribery allegations, if true, suggest an extraordinary and despicable breach of that trust."

They have a process. "According to official protocol, the NCAA notifies an athletic program that it is under investigation if the NCAA has found sufficient evidence. Then a series of hearings are held, often in front of the NCAA's Committee on Infractions. Lastly, after the NCAA renders its verdict and the program is given a chance to appeal, a final decision is handed down. This can be anything from a reduction in scholarships or a postseason ban on the basketball team to a show-cause order on a coach that prohibits him from being hired by any member institution for a stated number of years."

    So here is the deal.

LSU is under investigation and yes by the ncaa. To not think so would be foolish.

If I were there ALL phones would be thrown in the trash.

All records would be scrubbed immediately

All personnel would be highly scrutinized. Any employee with less than 4 years tos would be reassigned or let go.

Now is the time to get the ducks in a row not when you get the call. Because the call will come.
