Yeah, this is getting sad. I had a lot of expectations for this squad, though I haven't given up on them yet, it's still early in the season. I really think this team is lost...no true point guard who is a leader, no perimeter defense, and where the hell has Hud been the last 2+ years?

I never thought Brady was a bad coach before this year but it's looking more and more like he is...looks like the cupcake pre-conference schedule is finally going to bite him in the ass.

As someone who loves LSU basketball this is truly depressing. Can Skip fire Brady now?

I live in Houston and considered going to the game tonight. Then I remembered how embarrassing it was to attend last year's game which LSU lost to Houston. Brady must go. I hope that Brandon Bass and Glen Davis both leave for the NBA after this year. For the sake of their own careers.

    This Is Just Plain Misery

I'm listening over the Internet and it sounds like the guys are giving very little effort. Losing is one thing, but losing without giving the effort to win is another. If that is indeed the case, then that simply says that Brady does not have control of this team.

Dump the Grimace now. Let Butch take it from here. Hell, let the team coach itself. How much worse could it get?

Just to follow up. When the LSU baseball team comes to town to play Houston, the stadium is packed with lots of LSU alumni and fans. Houston has the largest LSU alumni association outside of Louisiana. At last year's LSU/Houston basketball game, there were maybe 4000 people in total attendance. There were 6000 empty seats. It is obvious that Brady has lost the confidence of LSU alums in Houston.

Will a defender of John Brady rear his head? Will anyone look up from the Dionysus-esque gorging at the table reserved by The Butt Munch Lunch Bunch at Phil Brady's Oyster Bar to answer for yet another gem of a performance by this team?

I'm guessing the Brady Butt Munch Lunch Bunch's annual Christmas Butt Munch Potluck Supper is taking up too much of their time...Heads planted too firmly in his rectum to see any negativity...

    One more year!

    sigh.....

    This Day in LSU Athletics
On Dec 21, 2002, The Tigers jump out to a 15-point second-half lead over No. 1 Arizona and hold on for one of the biggest upsets in school history, 66-65 in the Maravich Center.

Brady was given an extension last season if I remember correctly
Where are all the Brady defenders now?

After reading this thread, it doesn't matter when Bass goes, this team is in trouble regardless.

I still say the womens team would beat the mens :thumb:

I was not the most adamant defender of Brady in the past, but I didn't think he should be fired just yet either.

Now it's time. I say tomorrow morning, if possible. Still time to salvage the season with one of the assistants taking over.
