I think the $6 ticket is a positive move for LSU and the athletic department. LSU's been averaging around 8000 for SEC games. At least you generate some kind of revenue by cutting the tickets in half and filling the PMAC. It is marketing 101 - lowering your price for market pentration. Good job Athletic Department.
Much ado about nothing... LSU fans needed a lot of excitement (wins and potential for more), to show up for the b-ball games, after winning the whole enchilada in football. Now that we are rolling and people think we have a shot at making some noise in the tournament, the fans will show. I have been to three games this year, but don't plan on missing another. I will also attend road games in the tourney if we look like we will compete. The program is doing fine, and people need to chill (and go to the games).
