This to me is one of the most basic fundamentals of a good coach. You MUST be able to draw up a play that will let you inbound the ball. Scott Brooks was the absolute worst when he coached the Thunder, when it came to crunch time they could never get the ball inbounds. I'm not talking about a play that would get the ball inbounds to a shooter with less than 3 seconds on the clock, they just couldn't get it inbounds at all.

Wade HAS to be better here.

i thought darius days had a really severe injury, but i guess he is out for 10 days or something? not sure exactly.

good thing o'neal is coming on. he had some important minutes in high leverage parts of the game, and it wasnt his fault they lost.

he played shit minutes at UCLA so i would imagine the game today might have been his most involved college game. good for him.

my guess is severe ankle sprain. he couldnt walk at all, had to be carried off. in person it looked awful, as he dragged himself off the court like a pained slug before the training staff reached him.

the advocate says knee, but other news says ankle. wade says 1 to 2 weeks.

It looked like ankle, he landed awkward after missing a rebound.

No argument but the other coach is equally on the hook to ruin good plans.
As i recall he was also under the basket which complicates things.

I thought ankle as an opposing player was right where he landed but it couks as easily be knee.
Wrong two weeks to not have him available.

Agree, I was listening not watching so hard to see what you can't see. Bottom line is you have to be able to inbound the ball. My kid was watching and says Watford missed a wide open Smart to force it to Thomas. FWIW could be wrong

i was trying to figure out who to blame for the disastrous ending.

inbounding to leblanc was dumb. he missed the front of a one and one. possession lost.

then thomas shot a terrible 3 way too early. possession lost

then TT lucked out and an airball bounced into the hands of mcclung for a 3. not their fault. bad bounce.

then they fucked up an inbound and had to call timeout

then, even after the fucking timeout they not only fucked the inbound, but threw it away in the worst place possible. posession lost, and points given up in 2 seconds.

so on 3 inbounds plays they got negative 2 points.

lost t game they were leading by 7 with a minute left.

ok so thats alot of fuckups. who is to blame? did wade tell them how to do the inbounds and those idiots just fucked up? did wade give them a stupid plan? how should i know.?

i think we always judge coaches with a longview, by the season, not the game. i say a success for this program is make thr tournament every year. when they are missing the tournament every year, fire wade. until then, i find it hard to complian, becuase i dunno whose fault is what. i just hope they learn from mistakes.
