notes from will wade show, currently airing on 98.1

team is healthy, many issues have had to do with contact tracing. some players have had virus and everyone is fine. one player will not be available saturday due to contact tracing, this player was not named but was described as significant. probably a starter.

watford ankle is fine and he has returned.

apparently the state of LA is more stringent than some others. restricts team more than wade likes.

cam thomas leads SEC in scoring.

wade has non conference opponents on tap for when/if SEC games are cancelled. that would be fresh if they could arrange some big matchups on short notice.

 

Switched from Texas Southern to Nicholls Saturday at 1PM. Texas Southern got da covid.

The Tigers have had as much as a 12 point lead. Nicholls has cut it to 5.

 

44-39 at half. LSU looking a little rusty (good in spurts); smart is sitting out.

 

I am at the game. smart is the aforementioned player who is out, although he is here on the bench. presumably he is on the mildest level of quarantine. watford smashed his knee and is limping around. I hope it doesn't swell up and keep him out tuesday.

I maintain that leblanc is a monster. he guards one to five with ferocious effort.
