I lived in B'ham for a year and while I am no Bama or Auburn fan I can tell you that there is pure love for SEC sports there and you have to respect that. Not to mention that rivalry, it is one of the best in the nation. Those Bama people hate to lose. True story, after we beat them there in 88 I think it was, we went to get some dinner at a decent place and a big table of people just got up and left when we came in, hadn't finished eating or anything. They were older too. We were being cool too, as we had our dates with us.
