Baseball v Miss St. (2010) Series Thread

Nowhere to go but up! Hopefully we can just shake it off and put it together with the postseason on the line...

 

We are worse than bad. MSU is bad and they are having their way with Bourgeois. This State team has lost 12 SEC games in a row. Let's just end our misery this weekend.

 

I couldn't make the game due to other commitments. So far I'm glad I didn't drive 100 miles to see this. :dis:

At least Bourgeois got out of a situation with a runner on third with 1 out.

 

I'm going to the game saturday. might be all alone.

 

Since the Florida series, LSU has given up 16 FIRST inning runs. :bncry:

 

And we are making crappy pitchers like like all stars.

 

State's RF dropped a fly-ball hit by Nola, and Gaudet takes advantage and hits a HR.

Well that was a crazy play.

A couple of singles got men on first and second with two outs.

Mahtook hit a line drive single to LF, Watkins came around and scored. The LF threw to 2B to stop Nola there. The 2B didn't see the ball and it sailed past him. Nola came around to score because the 1B tried to get the ball and fumbled it.

Mahtook ended up on 3rd.


Tie game.

And a liner to 3B bounces off of him and LSU takes the lead!

 

LSU takes the lead 5-4, MSU's defense is giving it away but I'll take it!
