I agree. The problem tonight has been ineffective hitting by LSU. Rinaudo has not been at his best tonight, but he has been good enough for a win.

 

I wasn't really limiting it to tonight's game. We just haven't shut down or closed out many opponents this season as we rarely have a dominant pitching performance. How many games have we held our breath as we're never sure if a lead will hold?

We missed our chances the first few innings to knock him out.

 

lets give this to our resident know it alls who know what cpm did wrong after the fact.

 

I didnt tell you what to do.... Been here all season, just don't post all the time.

Sorry J, I had to stop reading right there. This kid was unhittable tonight, at least after the first few innings. His change is amazing, 11 SOs, only 2 walks. LSU batters looked silly all night. Decent doesn't even come close to describing Baeur's night.

 

I was thinking the same chit.. Guy is just slaying the LSU lineup.

Just hard to watch at this point. Going to be particularly painful when we score 5 in the ninth and lose on that 2-out single in the top half.
