  1. I was a little concern when his name was not mentioned by coach Saban during the interview. The others four backs were mentioned as team player. Let's hope it is not true.
  2. It is true. I wish him well, he is a good one.
  3. It appears Dandy Don was correct last month when he broke the news. The tea leaves had been read, now it is "officially" released to the public.
  4. I had been away for a while and had heard nothing of this ...not doubting crawfish..just wanted to read the story...
  5. Rivals has it, but I think you have to be a member to read the entire story.

  6. actually, he didn't leave last month

The first time he just had some trouble with Saban. I talked to some players about it. He was still practicing with the team and working out with the team the first time this story broke.
  7. Well the rivals.com article sounds definite and a done deal for sure.

Does this free up a scholly? I thought I saw something posted just this past week on the fact that if a player transfers, you don't get to give his scholly to anyone else.

    Maybe someone can confirm this.

Good luck to him. He was just going to be wasted riding the pines in the next 2 years. So it makes sense that he left. He has too much talent to stay.
  8. No, he was given "penance" that had to be served and he was still on the tema as Saban said. Maybe he isn't serving his penance to suit Nick or maybe he has decided he doesn't want to serve it and still be 5th on the depth chart.
But Don should cool his jets before reporting this stuff to make sure he isn't wrong like he has in the past. He should not name names of a player unless he has confimred it officially. He should respect the wishes of the Coach he professes to love so much.
  9. Shall we say that DD is a lil over zealous?
  10. This isn't the first time he has been rumored to be off the team and it is common knowledge that he has had problems this off season. It may just be another rumor but this one shouldn't catch anyone on this board by suprise.
