Barf: How LONG will Auburn keep mentioning 13-0?

Man, I totally agree with your opinion here. The Nutt man is far from a great coach as some have called him but I do believe that if Arkansas got rid of Nutt they would end up with someone else just about like him (or worse) as a replacement.

Arkansas fans I know are coming to grips with the reality that life in the SEC for Arkansas football is going to be just about what we've witnessed over the last 10 years or so. There will be an occasional peak where Arkansas will field a team which is pretty good but the Hogs will never rise to the status of an SEC elite program. There are simply too many better football programs which have more advantages (particularly recruiting bases) which will prevent Arkansas from becoming a consistant SEC contender. There will always be an LSU, Tennessee, Auburn, UGA, Florida, Bama, etc. for Arkansas to contend with and that is a far cry from the competition the Hogs were used to playing before they entered the SEC. The cold hard truth of the matter is that what tradition Arkansas has was primarily achieved in a weak SWC and that success has come to an abrupt halt since Arkansas joined the SEC.
The results speak for themselves.

Well, that wasnt meant to be a knock. You can take it how you want. But, this free loader also talks about this site as the best LSU fan site on the web during his radio show. I dont know how many more people that gets for you here, but you can't beat some free advertisement for what I consider the best and most friendly LSU board on the net.

Well I appreciate that. A guy called the show the other day asking about what sites were best for LSU message boards and good talk. I told him that TF is the best place you'll find. The people are knowledable, reasonable and its just about insulting people like some message boards are. There is actually intelligent talk here. I think I'll be doing the show alone tom b/c Blake has to go out of town, so I'll talk you guys up again.

 

Well, the big difference is that in LSU's case we are talking about WINNING a
legitimate National Championship and winning it on the field under the rules agreed upon by ALL major conferences.

Aubies on the other hand are continually whining about NOT WINNING a National Championship even though they knew the rules before the season began. Many Aubies continue this assumption
that Auburn would have won the MNC so they claim one even though not one single publication or poll named Auburn as their National Champion.

Mind you, these are the same Auburn fans who were sceaming that their
USC buddies were screwed in 2003 for being left out and many posted their sentiments that LSU didn't deserve to play OU over USC. Well in 2004, USC wasn't left out. Karma is a bitch.
