I'm still waiting on you to make a valid point.
No Barney Frank and Chris Dodd are not exclusively responsible for the housing collapse that is a false notion, they have some responsibility in legislation.

Frank and Dodd, had nothing to do with the mis-management at BofA, that is a flat out lie as well. Some companies didnt touch these toxic assets and mortgages, some companies didnt trade these derivatives.

Ive done enough research to know that and the notion that Dodd and Frank are the reason for the failures of CEOs at Lehman, BofA, Citigroup and others alike is just a lie.

And please dont try to tell me what people like me do, because you dont know what you speak of. I understand fully the corruption in government, I lived here the last 8 years, so I have seen it myself.

I never made a stink about Bushs nominations, I wasnt even around this board at that point, so your sour attitude is directed towards the wrong person.

So you can continue to whine about how much you hate the govt and everyone in it.

I believe there are many people to blame for the current housing collapse but if you had to assign percentages of fault, I think the leader of the pack would be...

And I have no problem with that at all, I would lump him with the likes of Pelosi and Reid. We can agree on this. But exclusively responsibility to the failure of Investment firms and Major Banks, not at all.

Some politicians are just bad, no matter if they are Rep or Dem. Barney Frank is one of them and should be replaced quickly.

Ok, let me get this straight?

You asked me what did Geitner and Daschle had to do with the discussion.
I told you that they possibly broke the law by tax evasion but at least failed to pay taxes.
I then stated that if anyone in this thread did this they would be in serious trouble.

Obama nominated these guys and one of them has the job of secretary of the treasury and stated these guys are going to be in charge of running the country, treasury, law enforcement of taxes, etc.
Some of Obama's nominations have failed to be responsible in their own lives but they should be in charge with helping to run the country?
    Whats wrong with this picture?
I pointed out that again, you have no comment on any of this?

    Point well made,
Let the chips fall where they may!:thumb:

Geithner is the devil and so Daschle is one of his demons.
People make mistakes on their taxes all the time, even the most accomplished CPAs screw up on taxes one time or another. Everyone who fails to pay their tax isnt guilty of tax evasion, I think this concepts escapes your understanding.
Geithner probably shouldnt have been confirmed, but he was so oh well, thats something you can discuss with yourself. You can blame all the people who confirmed him Democrats and Republicans.

Oh how about this David Vitter didnt vote for Hillary Clinton for SOS, he criticized her during the senate hearings over and over again about Bill Clinton Global Intiative Donations. However, David Vitter should be in jail, he has had numerous rendevouz with at least 3 different prostitutes. Where is your outrage?

But you win, you are right , im wrong, congrats on the INTERNET CHAMPIONSHIP.

Let me say that I have no problems with people going after corruption in the private sector, far from it!
I just think that we need a little more balance when going after both, government vs private sector, I would prefer fair and balanced.

    Seriously,
Is there anyone here who thinks I am wrong with this observation?
