PB .. have you ever heard of a guy named Tac Minor.. just wondering... He was our starting point guard that got hurt.. remember him??? Tac was one of the top 5 point guards in the country coming out of high school. I repeat top 5!!! Oh thats right, you said Brady cant recruit.

We got beat in 2000 because we went to a basketball game and a football game broke out. Had nothing to do with being prepared or not prepared. I have argued all along that the Big 10 is much more physical than the SEC. It was one of the reasons we got beat by Purdue. By playing a tougher schedule, we will be better prepared going forward to face teams that are much more physical in nature than we play in the 16 game SEC schedule.

Jesus Christ. I swear, an LSU sports team can't possibly have any kind of success without some little snot wanting to turn it into some lame-ass bandwagon war. Shut up and let it go, already. Be happy that the team is having a successful season and freaking enjoy it.

This sort of pitting is so utterly ironic. People like Jeffinbama want to come around and chastise others about being negative, yet where is the positivity in calling out your own fanbase? Yeah, it takes a true fan to display this sort of cynicism in a time of prominence.

I do not consider myself a bandwagon jumper....I've stated numerous times on TF that I as a LSU Tiger basketball fan am torn. Torn by the fact I want LSU to win but knowing the better the Tigers do, the longer John Brady will stay in Baton Rouge. I've been knowing Brady since his days at Crowley High and just don't think he's the coach to lift LSU's basketball program to among those considered to be competing for a National Championship. I want LSU to win as much as anyone, which thankfully the Tigers are doing and right now I'm cautiously excited. Cautiously excited, because in the recent past Brady's bunch has peaked our interest with some success only to break our hearts with a disappointing collapse. In the past few years, LSU basketball is the only major sport NOT to be a National Championship contender. I will be more than happy to start a thread and say I was WRONG about John Brady if and when he can deliver a Final Four appearance or a National Championship.

I have always bashed John Brady, but he must be doing a good job with this basketball team, we're 5-0 in the SEC. He is proving me wrong, and I am loving every minute of it.

Doesn't sound like a whole lot of facts here, just subjective jargon.
And we're all LSU fans, some since birth, some not. You're better than exactly no one.

The fact is that LSU basketball fans are bandwagon fans... You cannot argue with that. Arkansas and Kentucky Basketball fans show up every game and sell their facility out no matter who they are playing, who their coach is and what night they play the game.

I am better than most as I am there thru thick and thin.

Yeah? How much you contribute to the basketball program from Bama?

So? You going to spend your day pissing and moaning about that despite the dominating performance last night? Basketball has been playing third fiddle on LSU's campus for quite a while now. I'm somewhat shocked that you don't realize that. This whole argument is so elementary. On any campus nationwide, the teams that perform better and have richer tradition are going to have more unfettered support. Like I said, quit bitching about the way things are when they're not doing so great and try and enjoy the good season. That's your choice, though. You can choose to continue sulking, if you so desire. You are better than exactly no one.
