Nah, people think certain things that are illegal are ok to do. Vices are always gonna be one of those things you can talk yourself to do, if you're ok with stuff like that.
the reason you dont rob banks should be because it is wrong to steal, not because some asshat lawmaker happened to agree with the correct views on morality for once. lawmakers are just idiots that know how to gladhand and get elected, they dont define what is right and wrong. drinking is great and all humans should be free to do it. the laws against it were immoral and it would be absurd to obey them. again, rosa parks didnt report to the back of the bus because it was illegal.
