I say forget the $100 issue here and let them all play. All that will happen is excuses as to why Bama lost the game. I would rather let them play everyone... then we can say we beat them with no weaknsesses to roster.
Maybe, maybe not. I think Bama having a good game had more to do with a very inexperienced Tennessee secondary.
They'll find out the difference between the scrubs they've played and LSU football in 2 weeks. Until then let the Bama-homers have their fun.
A friend of mine went to Mardi Gras years ago as a student, and parked her car on an out-of-the-way side street. A group of kids nearby offered to "watch" her car for her for $10. She agreed. Of course, when she got back, her car was broken into. The only thing taken other than her radio were her old textbooks in the trunk (a couple of years worth of books from her major that she wanted to keep). She figured the kids saw the original prices and thought they hit the jack pot, and just couldn't get too mad about the theft when thinking about their faces as they tried to cash in the books. Good times!
I'm assuming you do realize Bama is ranked above a team that gave us all we wanted last weekend. Hope you're right but I don't see it as a picnic.
sometimes teams play to the level of their competition. i hope this is not the case on the 3rd. a frenzied crowd, a hostile environment, screaming gumps showing their tooth.....hopefully we'll see 2 LSU fans kissing in joy after the final gun
How do you figure... Bama is only ahead of Auburn in 2 polls of the 4 I saw and the BCS has them 2 spots ahead of Bama... AFTER being beat by us. They only dropped 5 spots to 22 in the BCS. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/rankingsindex
Just because they are ranked higher doesnt mean they are better. I though that is one thing people will have learned this year. Who has Bama beat? Arkansas? A very average Tennessee team? They lost to FSU and had very close games against Houston and Ole Miss. If we come to play we should not have a hard time winning.
Auburn is #22 and Bama is #24 in the BCS. Auburn dropped 5 spots and is still ranked above Bama after losing to us.
