Oh...I would vote Texas Tech #1, but Bama would be #2 since they haven't lost and they play in the SEC. I was more responding to Contained Chaos saying that them being ranked #1 is a complete joke. Come on... It's not that far of a stretch. How many other teams have no losses? And contained, Troy is manhandling us becase that joke of a #1 Bama team broke our will. Also, Bama was up 31-0 at half in Georgia's house. I think half of Bama's team stayed in the hot tub in the locker room after half. It was over. Who cares how much Florida won by? How much did Florida beat Ole Miss by? I think we agree that Bama is not th strongest #1. But they are very good and I think a lot better than people give them credit for. That's all.

One other team had no losses, and the fact that they (TTU) are not ranked number 1 is a complete joke. That's my point. No one in their right minds would put UA ahead of TTU. Thus far, TTU has played against better competition. Hate to say it, but the Big 12 is way ahead of the SEC this year. On the other hand, you could say that we took the no. 1 team all the way down to the wire. Either way, this piss-poor performance by the Tigers cannot be blamed on how awesome Bama supposedly is. I'm not saying that they're not good. Just that they're far from the best team in the country right now.
Being the worst #1 team is a title I would take any day compared to what we are now....Bama has won all their games...many in dominating fashion. That automatically makes them better than any 1+ loss #1 ranked team.
They beat UGA and Miss. St handily.. Who else? Ole Miss, UK, Kentucky, LSU.. all gave em a run. I'd take anyone in the top-5 against Bama +10 at this point in time.
any unbeaten team in the SEC after 10 weeks of play deserves the #1 ranking. its what we all in here have been saying for years...cant take it back just because its bama.
It's amazing how "strong" or "weak" a team is, is now determined by how good or bad their offense is. Yet we all scream "Defense wins championships". Our defense and special teams are winning games for us. To say Bama is the worst #1 team "ever" sounds more like you're just grinding an ax against a team and coach you absolutely hate. Your team lost two games last season, one being against a non ranked Arkansas team at home and then had to have a water turned into wine miracle just to get into the game. Yet we're undefeated and we're the worst #1 team "EVER"? :huh: Considering how many teams over the history of college football have occupied the number one spot during the season and after the season to I don't think the 2008 Bama team is the "worst ever". :dis:
Has nothing to do with the team or coach if I know ISl. Bama just has not looked like a dominant team much this season. BTW, LSU was not #1 until after the NC last year except for maybe 2 weeks early last season.
