McElroy doesn't look as good as a lot of Bama fans thought he would. I think Jordan Jefferson looked better under pressure than McElroy did. (VT has a tougher defense than UW though.) I'll take JJ any day!!:wink:.
I just watched the Bama game and for three quarters Mcelroy looked terrible. He was 2-12 at one point for like 20 yards. After that he went 12-15 finally hitting passes and looking like a good QB. Jones had a couple uncharacteristic drops. Their defense did look good but not unbeatable. I think Va-Tech scared them but it would have been better if the gumps lost. Oh well.
