Wrong - Bama's nightmare is one that it created. The sense of entitlement some of their over the top fans have had in the past was encouraged and not controlled. Their attitude that the rest of the conference should bow down and get out of the way because Bama could do anything it wanted finally caught up with them.

    And vice-versa.

You make this to be a black and white issue. It is, in more than one sense.

Any other staff around the country would have simply picked up the phone, called the other school and told them there was a printing error. It's an unspoken rule in professional behavior in coaching ranks. IF that call goes unheeded, the next step (written, mind you) is to report these things to the Ath. Dir. and the SEC offices. At that point, if all is unheeded you move further.

His intent was to do nothing more than create problems. It was unprofessional and a blight on the professionalism that the coaching community lives by...by its own choice.

Whether you see it the same way most others do means little. It's was nothing more than a incident reminiscent of a 3rd grader running to the teacher every time they see the smallest things. Except, in this case, it was a grown man holding a grudge and trying to "get back" at a school where he wasn't hired because of his own ineptitude in the interview process. IF you would step back from the tree trunk you might be able to see the entire picture.

    Petty, at its best.

You're dreamin....Saban got owned by Tubby while at LSU, I don't see that changing cause he's at Bama with less talent. Auburn rolls.

I saw that there's still no word on the Bammer Five.
I wonder if the NCAA will hammer them like Ball State (two years of probation and loss of schollies).
Scholarship losses would force Saban to look elsewhere.

You haven't done your due diligence in looking for the latest news on the story. The story has been written and it's out there.

    The report is in...

    Florida hasn't played MSU.

IIRC, 3-2 with the wins coming at each others home field...hardly owned.

your obsession with croom is bordering on the unreasonable. why do the gumps harbor this lingering resentment against croom? why can't they get past it? gump u should just move on. at this point its becoming another stain on the much tarnished credibility of the gump posters on this board.

Excuse me if I responded to a question with information.

    You mentioning obsession is ironic.

Geez, kcal, you've got gump on the brain, amigo. Don't let 'em get to you like that. Terry is just defending his team and being very polite about it. You should see the stuff we're deleting from Bama flamers this week.
