I saw a block in the back and a hold.

 

Bamer had 2 lineman beyond the LOS prior to the throw. Or were they 350 lb TE's?

 

Damn they sure did, way beyond the line of scrimmage, throw was behind the LOS though.

 

Minter, and Loston both missed tackles, and Mingo didn't catch him at the end. First time since the game I watched that play.

 

I didn't think that mattered, but I wasn't sure.

Guess I'll just have to hate them a little more now...

 

Yeah as long as the throw is behind the line they can run as far forward as they want, but for a forward pass in the NCAA it's 3 yards past in NFL it's 1 yard past unless the NCAA changed its rule, and I know they were talking about it because Saban started complaining. If you remember his team was beat in games where ineligible downfield probably should have been called on critical plays, once against Auburn in the kick 6 game, and then Ole Miss last year.
