Even Fitz didnt understand why he had to leave. Nobody even checked him on sideline from what I could see on TV.
The ref made him leave. The kid did look dazed and confused so it was the right thing to do... However,I think anyone would have looked dazed and confused with what he had gone through....
Think Fitz thought he was just getting RP. Knocked wind out of him but that was it. He resisted leaving.
The refs on the field are not necessarily at fault regarding targeting call. They saw what they saw on the field fast a furious. The absolutely inexcusable (ref should be fired now) offense, was the replay confirming. That official either HAD to have a bias to make that call or just simply does not know the rule. Either way, this NEVER happens to Bama. I realize I am like a broken record on that.
