It’s pretty clear to me that White pretty much ran up, planted his hands on the “Mississippi” logo just above the number, and pushed Fitz down. There was no targeting here at all. He didn’t even really hit him. Slow mo ... https://mobile.twitter.com/Sheadixon/status/1053829660080046080
Slow motion, same play, different angle. It shows yours first, then the side view https://twitter.com/FanSportsClips/status/1053828111039528960
Google it. If it wasn't for the overturned call (not from an official, but from one of the ADMIN's of the PAC) we're looking at an undefeated WSU team. Larry Scott has made a fool of himself, again, with this one. This weekend he told the media they didn't have a procedural handbook--or something to that degree--the covers how it's supposed to be handled during reviews. Blatant lie.
I know. Looking forward to the game. A bye week is needed for the team. I need it to get some things done to my house instead of spending all day Saturday in front of the TV (and Sunday for that matter since I spend a part of it watching replays from Saturday.) Two freakin' weeks. Damn.
Yep .... and just like my clip, he ran up and pushed the dude down. White didn’t even fall down with him. Hand from every view does not contact the neck. There was no helmet contact. .... as you said. Read the rule, there must be contact to the head or neck and there was not. Period, end of story.
His hand moved up in the frame after contact was made to the chest. Bad call, and even if the call is legitimate, poor enforcement of rules. But we’ve had our share of BS calls in the state of Alabama; now in Tiger Stadium. Hope Alleva brings his check book in a couple of weeks.
Literally, on his neck. Leading with helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area What's crazy is you can see the ref right there...literally staring at the play. It wasn't the call on the field stands, it was the call was confirmed.
