thats been done before. i do prefer the night games tho. its just the way things should be. afternoon kickoffs just dont seem right.
Last weekend we arrived at the tailgate at 630am. We stood around talking for about an hour before I finally had enough and cracked open the first brew. About 30 seconds later everyone else followed. It's never too early to get things started on Saturday morning (or friday night for that matter). Must admit though, TS got pretty loud in the first quarter when we held them to 2 straight 3 and outs.
Since 1960 LSU is 207-59-4 at night under the lights at Death Valley .773 winning percentage oppossed to a record of 21-23-3 in the day time which is sub 500. since 2000 we are 41-4 at home at night and 11-4 in the day. Before 2000 LSU had only won 10 games at home during the day in 32 tries. article www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=1506443 i would say that by playing in the day some of our home field advantage has been taken away.
Day/nite all that really matters is that now we have one more reason to kick Sabans - Bama teams butt. GEAUX TIGERS lets bring it
Not sure if anyone has noticed but Alabama has played better at night (all in road games) than during the day.
this is the lamest bullchit i've heard. if we're going to be big time, we play well (and that includes fan participation) if it's at 5 in the morning. It don't matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
