You are misreading what I said Red...or perhaps, I just didn't say it well enough. My intention was to point out the the GLBA isn't as large of a student group, not that the number of gay's and lesbians is different at Alabama than it is from other schools in the Bible belt. Granted, that was the way it was when I was in T-town (moved to Charleston a few years ago.) You can find a larger number of students that participate in org.'s like that one at other schools outside of the Bible Belt. That, was the only point I was making. You'll have to agree that the South is by far less liberal than other states in...therefore the monicker. It's not a lifestyle that the majority of Southern folk think is appropriate. Just as example, you don't see many Southern states voting approval for gay marriages, etc. Therefore, seeing this type of reactions from a southern school, or in a football environment, isn't what I would consider the norm and I'm not surprised with how it's being treated/lambasted. Follow what I'm saying?
Since that has so much to do with my sexual preferences. on a side note... kirby smith really does suck :bncry:
Ya well enjoy your time in college, even if you live in K.S.....if it dates me, my first dorm isn't even there anymore (Power) :bncry:
