    Tidefans.com is one of the best-run SEC football boards I ever been to. I've been a regular there for years and never had a problem. But it is not a smack board. You can find them out there on the net but Terry's site ain't one of them.

    Incidently, I've been to a lot of forums in this league and Bama fans give LSU more respect than any other opponent in the league. By far. We should not mistake their often-pompous pride in their legendary coach and their pile of trophies for disrespect.

    Geez bammer do you have to embarrass our state by displaying your ignorance and calling it fact. The field will not be named after Pat Dye until Nov. 19 when we whip your butt :hihi:

    I think that "Jordan Hare Dye Stadium" has a certain ring to it.
    A great deal more intimidating than "The Jungle"

    Guess we will have to start referring to the place at West Vance (our 2nd home) as Jordan Hare Dye-West. :rofl:

    Thanks Red, you are one of our respected rival posters on TF. I have to say in all our polls LSU ranks very high if not at the top when it comes to respect. Us calling down our own is not uncommon when threads turn into a smack down.

    I do recall a recent newly registered LSU fan's first post where the first line was very respectful then he proceeded to rip us a new one. That is not the way to begin your career on a rival's message board.

    I believe you were asked if you agree to the policy of TF when you registered and were given the opportunity to read the policy.

    4. We do not tolerate any of the following in any post or article and reserve the right to, without notice, immediately and/or permanently block the member from posting should one or more of these occur:

    * Gross vulgarity or obscenity

    * Improper and/or harsh criticism of current or former players or HS recruits.

    * Improper criticism of coaches.

    * For lack of a better description: Ignorant sparring between posters.

    * Plagarism or unauthorized posting of copyrighted material.

    * Gratuitous links to non-sports or non-Bama related sites

    * Gratuitous links to other Bama/SEC-specific boards. (In other words, if you have a Bama or SEC board, don't use TideFans.com to advertise your site unless you want to pay us for the advertising space and reach!!)

    * Any explicit reference to pornography or sexually suggestive content..

    * Posts containing racist or bigoted remarks or references

    * Any reference (explicit or implicit) that states Bear Bryant was anything other than the greatest coach ever!!

    * The above list is not all-inclusive, but certainly gives the direction of the board. Moderators can and will do everything to enforce the "Spirit of TideFans.com"

    Dear God,

    Please let the next 11 days go by quickly. For some reason there are some (less fortunate, I know) who actually think it's important to post the rules for some obscure, out of touch forum on this site. I know this makes you very angry. I'm asking you to have mercy on these poor, misguided, semi-illiterate souls. You've already punished them mightily by making them live in that sorry space of real estate called Alabama, yet they persist in making You mad. Us TigerForums folk know that You are the Tigers # 1 fan and are planning something like a 33 - 6 bi*tch slap for the elephants but could you maybe make it a little closer? Something like 23 - 6 or at least let them stay in the top 10?
    As you know, this time of year SOS is important, and we need them to go to a decent bowl (Shreveport is nice in December) so the conference can share in the $$$. Maybe if You were to show them the "Bahr" getting a little warm down south they'll be more respectful of Your favorite team, the Fighting Tigers of LSU!!!!!!

    Thanks,

    Kcal

    P.S. Nice work with the wind against the 'Barners!!! That last one was classic!!

    They did beat Tennessee. What was the score of the UT-LSU game?
