Maybe they should have included a check made out to the NCAA as it was amazing how they never busted him for one of many violations during his career.

That's true. It's the way we set the site up in the first place. I'm sure you've heard the adage, "our house, our rules." I can understand part of what you just dealt with from those two on TF.com. One, appears to be from the Bayou so he probably hears a lot of smack talk everyday. I doubt, LSU is one of the teams he follows willingly. The other one...let's just leave that subject alone. It wouldn't be appropriate for me to voice my opinions outside of a private conversation with him. Understand, any of you guys are welcomed to join conversations on TF. However, when we started the site close to a decade ago we made it a policy there were certain things we wouldn't have on the site. One of those things happens to be foolish smack talk. You'll notice, I don't get into it here and try to limit it over on TF. Heck, we'll pull the plug on a Bamafan as quickly as we will anyone else if they cross "our line." It's been suggested we start a smack talk forum like the one you have here but I don't want that either. Quite frankly, a little good natured ribbing is one thing...smack talk is one of the things that lead to bad fan behavior which all schools get embarassed about. That last thing I want is to see college football end up being the "showcase" the NFL has become...unfortunately I see that becoming a reality. BUT, that doesn't mean we have to allow it on our site.
