Ok, help me out then, which years? I'm guessing it was before 1947? College World Series champions | GetListy!

I would agree with this. I think Bama does hold on, causing the first year Arkansas QB to throw some untimely pics that decide the game. I saw enough from Florida's defense that told me they could win this game. And their QB is playing at a much higher level now.
It's not that at all. People want to see bama trip up. That's all. The bama defense is awesome, and I think they are going to go into the Swamp and teach that young FU team a lesson or two. I expect 'bama to win both of these games, but it wouldn't be the SEC if both of these teams had a chance and bama came out a bit banged up. I look forward to watchng both of these games.
That's for sure. Even a one loss west team can get there from here if all things are equal. We're all going to be projecting our teams for Atlanta. Florida is no sooner going to have to get out of the ice treatment and rub downs and get ready for BR, ouch again. Sets up good for LSU. May not mean as much to you, but I kinda like LSU putting a good, physical beatdown on Tennessee and watch then limp into Bryant Denny the next week. Such is life in the SEC.
I hope you're right Tusk. I'm actually worried about that game. After what happened last year they will be hungry to beat us.
Bray will keep everyone's attention. Which is more than what happened last year. Still a little small on D and no depth. If Hunter is indeed out and with the pressure you're bringing, tennessee just won't have the guns for a 4 quarter fist fight.
Kind of pre-dates you a bit, but odd-numbered years this decade have been very favorable to us. Auburn and FU at home. The wrinkle now is Bama on the road in those years. Makes even harder for us to earn the trip to the :crystal:, but hopefully makes it that much better. The SEC schedule is absolutely brutal. I was watching Stanford against Arizona last night, and watch them lose a handful of players to seeming serious injury. Seemed to really open the door to Oregon running that conference start to finish. No such happening in the SEC. It's going to be tough for the champs no matter the circumstance of won-loss record.
That is why every opponent needs our full, undivided attention. The trick is to get better, develop the talent you have and get battle tested. Playing at the back end of the schedule when full development is much more evident is making this series the best in-conference game in the country. Alabama and LSU fans aren't the only folks that can't wait for this one.
I can't decide if I am having wet dreams about this game or nightmares. Oh yeah, I just went there. Seriously, it's like a NCG in November. Wow...lucky bastards that y'all have the game there.
